Long overdue. Turns out building your own blog with your own product is a good way to find things to fix.
This is long overdue.
I’m Lauri. I work on Drupal, mostly Canvas and Drupal CMS. I haven’t been particularly active on social media in the past, but I want to start writing more about what I’m working on and what I’m learning along the way. This blog is giving me a place to do that.
It seemed only fair that the blog is built using tools that I've built myself. I was glad to find out that the initial build gave me several ideas on how we could improve these tools. Don’t worry, I don’t only prioritize my own wishlist. I just updated the Canvas roadmap based on what I've learned from customer discovery and from conversations at DrupalCon.
For hosting, I went with Acquia and Vercel. I realize this site is nothing fancy but it took practically no effort to get a perfect Lighthouse score with this setup.
